We enjoyed a weeks stay at the Castaway Resort. Our room was large, very clean, plus it was poolside and just a minute walk to the beach. Staff were impressively friendly and helpful from receptionists to chefs and waitstaff. We ate dinner in the restaurant a few times and the food was delicious. Also a treat as Wilson's bar & restaurant is on the beach.
Bus stop just outside the resort making it easy to get around the island. A relaxing and relatively quiet place to stay with it being an adult only resort. We thought this was great allowing us to make the best of our stay. We really enjoyed our stay at Castaway,great location,very clean and comfortable room,with exceptional friendly service.We were welcomed by the owner Michelle,with a big smile.Pool was lovely,,food and entertainment at the intimate Wilsons beach restaurant and bar was romantic and tropical with excellent service.When Michelle new we would be leaving before breakfast time,she kindly prepared fresh fruit and breads and personally put them in our fridge so we would not leave hungry.

In the morning we could not find the keys for our rental car,and without hesitation Michelle offered to drop us at the airport at 7am,so we would not miss our International flight.A very kind and genuine caring lady.,who goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome. This would be a great hotel for a long term stay,as room was very well equipped for self catering.We will definitely return for a longer stay. Beachfront rooms are steps to the ocean.Great value for what you pay. It has been such a great pleasure to spend a day in this boutique hotel. The room is clean and tidy. You could feel that the hotel has a variety of delicate details including the unique cups.
The hotel is next to the beach, which means that you could always get tanned with the ocean view. Michel is really nice and gave us a range of useful advices. It is worth mentioning that I accidentally left my glasses in the room. Michel kindly posted it back for free to my address in Australia.

During my stay in the hotel, I do enjoy the meal onsite. The resort has very nice barbecue kebabs including seafood, meat and vegetables. It is great to enjoy crafted beer and tasty meal next to the ocean with the view of sunset. Overall, it has been a very pleasant experience to stay in this place, and I would like to highly recommend this hotel to any friends and relatives. So glad we chose Castaway Resort for our stay, the room was massive for us three girls amd it was complete with air conditioning which is crucial for Rarotonga weather! However the highlight of our stay in Castaway were the amazing owners who endlessly helped us everything from recommending dinner places to booking water activities to arranging transport to and from the resort! Without Michelle (the lovely lady owner who works at thw receptionist) we honestly wouldn't know where to go and what to do!
