In the current system today, the plan is taking about 16hrs+/-2 hours. However in the new migrated system, the plan is taking more than 24hours with the same data. We are using oracle 7.4.3 in the current production environment and 8.1.7 (32bit) in the new migrated environment. We have done the hardware validation from Manugistics before the migration.We are using HP-UX11.0 here and all the parametrization have been done as suggested in Manugistics manuals. I can't give you too much detailed advise, since I am the Implementation Project Manager and not the actual I.T. Person, but that runtime doesn't sound normal at all.
