F1 Challenge 99 02 Setups Gaming

Has anyone else picked this game up? I got it on the weekend and it has to be the best F1 game I've ever played.

Was playing multiplayer yesterday on a server in.ca and it was Brilliant. Just need some servers locally:) perhaps GA would be a good place to race. It even has an option to do the recon (from the pits to the starting grid) and parade laps before the start.

With the parade lap, is it not on by default? And you're saying there isn't a menu option to turn it on, only done by file edit?

Seems strange. No shit:) In the ' F1 Challenge 99-02 Save xxxxxx' directory where xxxxx is your player name. Go to your.PLR file and edit these ones from '0' to '1' (or just copy/paste this lot).

Johnny5 writes. F1C is basically the next version of F12002, with a lot of additions and refinements But is the handling still crap and unrealistic? The GP series was awesome and all about the physics. You can't beat GP4 track detail (have you seen the side by side video's?).

I compared F1 2002 (cube) to Gp4 nurburgring last night and gp4 was heaps ahead. The graphics engine in gp4 let it down. Not the content. Haven't played it, and also haven't heard many good things about it.

Played the demo last night. Ai was shocking (they kept crashing into me). Ovals are fun for a bit but after a while.. Graphics weren't that impressive although I only have a geforce 2 so all detail wasn't on. That being said I get good graphics at a reasonable frame rate in gp4 with that card.
