Driver Update For Speedstream 4100 Web

2/27/2018by admin

I have a 5 year old speedstream 4100 dsl modem and I hooked it up to a new computer that I just purchased. I thought something was wrong with the new computer because internet is extremely slow (.32Mbps download) but someone told me it might be that the modem is too old to deliver anymore. The question is: Do modems get too old and is 5 years the life of a modem? Do you think the new computer zapped the life out of the existing modem and do I now have to get a new one or is there a fix out there for something like this? Thanks in advance for your answers.
